Overview
Wayanad is a rural district in Kerala state, southwest India. In the east, the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is a lush, forested region with areas of high altitude, home to animals including Asiatic elephants, tigers, leopards and egrets. In the Ambukuthi Hills to the south, Edakkal Caves contain ancient petroglyphs, some dating back to the Neolithic age.

- Porterage (coolie charges), tips, laundry, telephone charges, shopping, Sanctuary Park Fees, Camera Fee, Elephant / Horse / Pony Ride, Boat Ride, wines and alcoholic beverages, mineral water, items of personal nature and food or beverages.
- Any extra cost incurred on behalf of an individual due to illness, accident, hospitalization, or any personal emergency.

Note:
Accommodation in the Kerala houseboats is purely for the experience. Houseboats have limited facilities and resources and may not be comparable to city hotels. AC on the houseboat is operational only between 2100 hours to 0600 hours and not during sailing, due to operational constraints. If you have opted to stay in a houseboat, sightseeing will not be included. Houseboat covers the Alleppey round only.

Tour Plan
Day 1 Arrival at Calicut (Kozhikode) (Approx 90 Kms Drive)
Welcome to Northern Kerala, this part of Kerala is popularly known as “MALABAR”. The northern region of Kerala feels like an undiscovered paradise, with pristine sunny beaches, palm-tree-lined back waters, misty mountains covered in lush rainforests, exotic spice and coffee plantations, tranquil waterways where nothing but the sounds of nature can be heard, it also has a culture and history that provide a different perspectives on life there.
On arrival at the Kozhikode International Airport/ Railway Station drive to the rainforest region of Wayanad.
Check-in into the hotel and relax. Evening is at leisure.

Day 2 Wayanad
Relish delicious breakfast at the hotel proceed to explore major at tractions of Wayanad. Visit the Pookode Lake which this beautiful lake is located at the wooded hills of the Wayanad region. It one of the most popular picnics spots. It is fresh water lake, which is spread over 8.5 hectares.
Further visit the Bansura sagar, it is located at the distance of about 15 kilometres away from Kalpetta.
Later visit the Pakshipathalam and Meenmutty waterfalls, which are also equally beautiful. After a long day of adventure, return back to the hotel for overnight stay. Overnight stay in Wayanad.
