Overview
The government has set development as an elite tourist destination as a top priority. It is a national strategy to make tourism a major, if not the single largest, contributor to the Azerbaijani economy. These activities are regulated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan. There are 63 countries which have a visa-free score. E-visa – for a visit of foreigners of visa-required countries to the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report 2015 of the World Economic Forum, Azerbaijan holds 84th place.
According to a report by the World Travel and Tourism Council, Azerbaijan was among the top ten countries showing the strongest growth in visitor exports between 2010 and 2016, In addition, Azerbaijan placed first (46.1%) among countries with the fastest-developing travel and tourism economies, with strong indicators for inbound international visitor spending in 2016.

- Surcharges as and when applicable will be advised and passengers would be requested to pay the same
- Surcharges could be over and above the total package price quoted to the passengers at the time of booking.
- Guests are requested to check with sales staff before booking their on-wards/connecting flights.

We reserve the right to use an alternate hotel accommodation of an equal or higher standard. If we source a more expensive alternative, we reserve the right to re-quote based on the higher rates.

- All the sightseeing tours and excursions are organized by local companies. The timings and days of operation are subject to alteration. Changes if any will be intimated at the time of booking.
- Sightseeing’s tours are strictly based on whether conditions and also local service providers have rights to cancel the sightseeing tours without prior notice.

- TCIL is not responsible for any change in the price due to factors not in the control of the
- As a practice all international hotels charge a security deposit via credit card or cash, at the time of check- in for each room. The amount will vary according to the hotel and is refunded back to the clients upon check-out. Debit cards should not be offered as it will be charged immediately and refunded only after 2-3 weeks. If any additional services or mini bar or any other service is utilized at the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to charge the same on this security deposit provided by the client. TCIL would not be responsible for these transactions and these are solely between the hotels and the clients.

Day 1 Arrive at Baku
Welcome to Azerbaijan – also known as “The Land of Fire”. Upon arrival at the airport, pick up from airport and transfer to your hotel. Check in at hotel (standard time approx. 1400 hrs.)

Day 2 Ateshgah Tour Baku – Explore old City (PVT basis)
Enjoy Breakfast in Hotel. Proceed to Ateshgah tour (Fire Worshippers Temple) Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship. “Atash» is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries.
Trip to “Fire Mountain “-“Yanardag” -a mountain on Absheron peninsula, 25 km from north of Baku. Literally, word “Yanardag” means “Blazing Mountain”. Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor. Yanar dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, which itself is known as the “land of fire.”
Later, Proceed to Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The Old City Is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls that were well protected. In 2007, the Old City had a population of about 3000 people. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO

Day 3 Baku – Gabala – Tour of Gabala (PVT Basis)

Nohur Lake- It is located in Qabala, another region of Azerbaijan that one passes when travelling to Sheki. Lake is not on the way but if you go a bit deeper towards the mountains this beautiful view opens up in front of you.
Yeddi Gozel (Seven beauties) waterfalls in Gabala, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Gabala, are located 6 kilometres from Vandam village and 3 km from the main track over Puskan. Here, water from various ravines forms a seven-step water fall. Only two small waterfalls are visible below. To look at the other five waterfalls, you have to climb up the stairs, which requires some physical strength. However, those who are going through this difficult path await a mysterious panorama. There is also a restaurant and a tea house. The waterfall is always dark and cool because it is located in a dense forest that is not affected by the sun’s rays.

Day 4 Gabala – Sheki. Tour of Sheki (PVT basis)

Visit The Palace of Sheki Khan’s Palace in which was a summer residence of Shaki Khans. It was constructed in 1761-1762 as a summer residence of Hussein-khan Mushtad (grandson of Gadzhi Chelebi). The basic material for the Palace construction was raw bricks, river stones, plane trees and oaks. The most amazing is that not a single nail or glue drop was used for the construction! Everything is in place due to a special solution the formula of which was lost forever.
Later visit Caravanserais. Swift development of trade in the middle Ages enhanced importance of caravanserai existing in the territory of Azerbaijan at that time and favored construction of new ones. Generally, caravanserai were built in form of castles with one gate, closing of which made them impregnable during dangerous incidents.

Day 5 Sheki – Baku – City Tour of Baku (PVT Basis)

Later, we proceed for a Private city tour with a visit to the main historical Centre of Baku.
After Old City guests will experience the happening street of Nizami Street known for shopping. The street’s history could be traced back to Baku’s town-planning project of 1864. The street runs through the city’s downtown from west to east. It begins from Abdulla Shaig Street, in mountainous part of the city and ends at railroad bed on Sabit Orujov Street, near a monument to Shah Ismail Khatai in “Black City”. Total length of the street is 3,538 m.
Fountains Square is a public square in downtown Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. The square was previously called Parapet and is often referenced to by the same name now. The name of the fountains square derives from the presence of dozens of fountains throughout the square first constructed during Soviet rule of Azerbaijan.The square is a public gathering place, especially after business hours and during the weekend.
Visit to the charming example of modern architecture – The Heydar Aliyev Center – a 57,500 m2 building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003. (Photo shoot outside)

Day 6 Baku – Quba Tour (PVT Basis)

Quba is a small city located in the Quba- Khacmaz district of Azerbaijan on the north-eastern slopes of Shahdag ridge about 168 km away from Baku. Transfer to Khinalig tour. Khinalig is a small mountain village, one of the oldest in the world. Its age is more than 5,000 years. This is the highest and most isolated settlement in the Greater Caucasus mountain range, located on the border with Dagestan, 63 km from Quba. Its residents numbering about 2,000 still retain unique cultural traditions, speak their own language and wear their own traditional clothes.
Village in Qachrash administrative district of Quba region. It is located on the banks of the Gudyalchay River, on the slope of the Greater Caucasus Range. The name of the village is a combination of the Persian words kach (pistachio) and ras (steppe, foothills, meadows), vernas” pistachio foothills”. The name of the settlement reflects the natural conditions and relief of the land. The village is covered with forest almost on all sides. There are many natural springs
Proceed to Chenlibel Lake. Chanlibel Lake, once created to irrigate the land, today is considered one of the most beautiful spots in Quba.
