About Destination
Azerbaijan is a country located in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia. It is bordered by Russia to the north, Georgia to the northwest, Armenia to the west and southwest, Iran to the south, and the Caspian Sea to the east.
The capital city of Azerbaijan is Baku, which is also the largest city in the country. Azerbaijani is the official language, and the majority of the population practices Islam. Azerbaijan’s economy is broad, comprising sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, and oil and gas.
Azerbaijan has a rich cultural heritage, and its traditional music, dance, and art have been recognized by UNESCO as part of the world’s intangible cultural heritage. The country has many historical sites, including the walled old city of Baku, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Azerbaijan is also known for its natural beauty, including the Caucasus Mountains and the Caspian Sea.

Tour Plan
Day 01 Baku
Arrive at Hyder Aliyev International Airport. Welcome to Baku, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Baku is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, situated on the southern shore of the Absheron Peninsula, alongside the Caspian Sea. It is the cultural, industrial, and commercial center of Azerbaijan. Baku is known for its rich history, modern architecture, and vibrant cultural scene.
Day 02 Baku
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to the ancient Zoroastrian temple “Ateshgah” which is considered as an authentic Azerbaijani exotic site to visit. It is
located approximately 30 km from the center of Baku in the suburb of Surakhany. You will learn a lot about the temple from your guide, particularly, more about the history of the creation of such a temple in Baku and the unique natural phenomenon of burning natural gas outlets. In the second part of the visit, after visiting the temple you will go directly to “Yanar Dag” (Burning Mountain), located not too far from Ateshgah Temple. It is the most famous and popular tourist site of the “Eternal Flame” in Azerbaijan. It is rather a hill than a mountain, with natural gas burning on its slope from ancient times.
Day 03 Baku
Early In the morning, depart from your hotel in Baku to Qabala. On the way to Qabala, you will have a chance to visit the historical Juma Mosque. Gabala’s tour will start with a panoramic view of the city. The ropeway of the Tufandag summer-winter tourist complex is an ideal place to enjoy the fresh breeze of the Caucasus Mountains and take an incredible view of the city. Also, here you will visit other attractions and interesting sites in the surrounding area of Gabala, such as Waterfall 7 beauty and Lake Nohur. Besides natural sights, Gabala is also known as one of the most ancient cities of Azerbaijan. The main sight of Gabala is the ruins of an ancient town Kabalaka (Chuhur Gabala), located 15km from the city centre. You will have a chance to visit this famous place, which was mentioned in historical sources of the 1st century, and for 600 years was the capital of Caucasian Albania.
Day 04 Gabala
Early In the morning, check out from the hotel & depart from your hotel in Gabala to Sheki.
Sheki Khan’s Palace, Sheki 0055 Azerbaijan: The Palace itself was built in 1762 as a summer residence for the Khan of Sheki. During the construction of the building, no single nails and glue were used. From inside, all the walls of the Palace are full of paintings and each painting has its philosophical meaning. In the garden outside of the palace, you will discover 2 plane trees that both are 500 years old. (Entrance included)
Church of Kish, Sheki Azerbaijan: On the way, visit the first Albanian church in the Caucasus, dating back to the 1st century AD. Kish Albanian Church – The brilliantly renovated round-towered Albanian church in pretty Kish village has been lovingly converted into a very well-presented trilingual museum. It’s the best place anywhere to learn about mysterious Caucasian Albania, the Christian nation that once covered most of northern Azerbaijan.
Karvansaray: “Caravanserai” historical complex in Sheki is two magnificent caravanserai that reached the present days and traditionally named “Yukhari” and “Ashaghi” caravanserai, which means “Upper” and “Lower” Caravanserai in translation from Azerbaijani into English. Construction of this caravanserai is dated back to the 18th-19th centuries AD. “Lower” caravanserai has a rectangular shape with a large inner yard in the center of which is located a pool. The total area of the caravanserai is 8000 m2 and dimensions are 55×85 meters. Four entries led to the yard from all four corners of the buildings. Transfer to Hotel in Sheki
Day 05 Sheki
Check-out from the Hotel. Transfer to Hotel in Baku. In Evening, Private city tour with a visit to the main historical Centre of Baku. You’ll discover the major sights of Baku located both in old part of Baku called “Ichari Shahar” and more modern parts of Seaside Boulevard, uphill parks and buildings. You will get to know the evolution of Baku since its establishment in the V century through Soviet era up to its independence. Your guide will lead you along the most remarkable monuments and buildings, so you can take memorable shots on your way. Martyrs Lane: Martyr’s Alley is an exhibition of Azerbaijani’s; courage against Soviet occupation. Get a glimpse of the end of totalitarian Soviet regime during our visit of Martyr’s Alley.
Baku Funicular: Enjoy the ride in a funicular while getting a short glimpse of Baku city up above from the hills of Baku.
Flame Towers: Right by the Martyr’s; Lane, you will see the Flame Towers, famous for their unique modern architectural design.
Baku Ferris wheel – is a Ferris wheel on Baku Boulevard in the Seaside National Park of Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. The wheel is 60 meters tall and has 30 cabins, each holding eight people. It makes a complete turn in 30 to 40 minutes.
Continue with Baku Old City, Fountain Square – Our second stop, the Fountain Square, was one of the first ever parks created in Azerbaijan and was full of mansions of oil magnates. It’s located in the central street of Baku and was called “Torgovaya” translated as the trading street. Until 90s this street was full of merchants trading souvenirs, vintage accessories and clothings.
Day 06 Baku
Enjoy breakfast at hotel & transfer to airport for your flight to onward destination
